The Russian Newspaper Murders On 9 October 2003,
Alexei Sidorov , editor-in-chief of the Togliatti Observer, became the sixth journalist to have been murdered in the city since 1995.
Officials quickly announced that Sidorov's murderwas unconnected with his professional activities. Human rights lawyer Karen Nersisyan was one of many who found this verdict hard to accept, and she set out to uncover the truth. This documentary follows her investigation.
