Mega-Tsunami: Wave of Destruction. Mega-tsunamis are tidal waves measuring several hundreds of metres high. The right conditions for producing such a wave - one that would engulf the United States' eastern seaboard - exist on the Canary Island resort of La Palma, and scientists say it is not a question of if, but of when, it will happen.
