A film first shown on BBC Wales continues the documentary series from the BBC Regions.

Heroin addicts and their families relate harrowing experiences with the prescription drug methadone, which has been held responsible for far more accidental deaths than the drug it is supposed to replace, and is disturbingly easy to obtain from general practitioners.

One fatality of the drug was Paul Jones of Colwyn Bay, North Wales, whose mother recounts the discovery that her son, who had never touched heroin in his life, had managed to dupe his doctor into prescribing a week's supply of methadone.
