Live coverage of the final of the 1998 World Professional Darts championship, played over the best of 11 sets, from the Lakeside Country Club at Frimley Green in Surrey.
Back in 1978, Wales's Leighton Rees was the first winner of the title, while it was Scotland's Les Wallace who triumphed last year, beating Marshall James in the final.
To reach this stage of the competition, which this year has prize money totalling £166,000, over 30 matches have been played during the last week. The two finalists are doing battle for the prestigious title and a winner's purse of £40,000.
