The intrepid duo cook for a scout group's annual camp in Kielder Forest in Northumberland. Serving up food in the wild in their makeshift kitchen, they stake their claim for a "Camp Cooking" badge when they prepare a shooter's sandwich, frittata with tomatoes, onions and basil, and easy onion soup with stilton and muttachar (spiced eggs).

But his devotion hasn't gone unnoticed in royal circles and the programme captures numerous candid moments as Colin meets, advises and even reads poetry to members of his favourite family.
