Documentary series about issues of concern to the Asian community.

Faced with cases of what they term "inexcusable and indefensible political correctness", the Government looks set to rewrite guidelines on same-race adoption outlined in the 1989 Children Act. Against a background of growing numbers of Asian children in care, East reveals how new proposals will make it easier for white couples to adopt Asian and black children, and talks to social workers concerned about the relaxation of the 1989 guidelines.

In the last of the series, Derek Cooper investigates the meat of the future.

Chickens with fewer feathers, pigs with chicken genes to make them grow bigger, sheep with plant genes to make them pest resistant - is genetic engineering the next wave in meat production? While scientists believe these processes will result in cheaper, tastier and healthier meat, their work is still shrouded in secrecy. This programme, which contains explicit sequences demonstrating artificial insemination techniques, reveals what the farmyard of the future could look like, and talks to people on both sides of the fence. Last in the series on modern car classics.

Back in 1955 when it was launched, few vehicles could command the absolute authority of the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud. Each car weighed two tons and took three months to build. With an interior like a stateroom and a bonnet like a croquet pitch, it was the closest you could get to a car in the style of a country house. But the Silver Cloud was never the sole preserve of the aristocracy. Quentin Willson meets some of its famous owners, including Barbara Cartland and Jimmy Savile.
