The Great Bears of Alaska
Living in spectacular landscapes, the huge brown bears of Alaska sleep away the bitter winter. They then need to cram all their activity into the six most productive months of the year, devoting themselves to a life of sheer gluttony. They graze on nourishing sedges, relish berries and gorge themselves on oil-rich salmon.
But when bears gather to feast, the tension rises, and cubs may be in mortal danger. Producer Roger R Jones
