Tooth and Claw. Aiming to topple the present management, a rebel group of keepers and Fellows of the Zoological Society has called for a special general meeting.
But opinion among the keepers is divided, and tempers begin to fray. As Christmas approaches, the whole zoo waits nervously as director general David Jones and his leading opponent Colin Tudge work out their plans.
Meanwhile, Midgie, one of the zoo's two koalas, has fallen sick. As her keeper nurses her day and night, Jones waits for the call that will announce his fate.
