Rajneesh owns a speedboat, three jet planes and 27 Rolls-Royces. He lives on a vast estate in America and basks in the adoration of 300,000 acolytes worldwide. His teaching has earned him the sobriquet of ' the free-sex guru '.
His English cult-centre is in Suffolk, in a house called Medina. Here, 150 disciples from all walks of life strive to purge themselves of their guilt feelings. They sing and dance, go into trances and wear only pink or red clothes. They work long hours at the Medina's profitable business ventures - for f 5.50 a week.
Rajneesh has been accused of exploiting and hypnotising his devotees, yet the cult flourishes.
