In the steamy gloom of a Costa Rican rain forest ants march in armies, lizards walk on water, spiders snare and pounce. Below, in its sunlit glades, birds and butterflies splash it with colour. Above, the call of hidden monkeys further enliven this secret place. But the rich variety of life within the jungle of tropical forest is only matched by our ignorance of it. In this film prize-winning cameraman David Hughes reveals some of the many secrets of the jungle.
