The Pipes. Drums and Band of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards feature in this special edition.
A tercentenary performance recorded at Castle Howard, York. When the band recorded ' Amazing Grace ' and topped the hit parade, the Director of Army Piping was not amused. But the disc sold ten million copies, so as the Pipe Major ambiguously says, ' What's a row now and again? '

It is a crime for an employer to discriminate on grounds of race against anyone seeking a job. Racial discrimination is still widespread, but it's very hard to prove. Of more than 600 complaints investigated, only four have been upheld.
In this special 90-minute programme, John Clare reports on racial discrimination in employment. He listens to British-born blacks telling their story of discrimination, and follows up each case; and Donald MacCormick asks, are we a racist society, and are we tackling racial prejudice in the right way? - talking to employers, union leaders and others on this. one of the least understood of Britain's social problems.
