Okavango

Everything from inch-long frogs to elephants; dragonflies to fish eagles. The crystal-clear waters of the Okavango swamps are a paradise protected by a lethal pest-the Tsetse' fly, carrier of sleeping sickness.
So far, the great maze of channels and floating islands that make up the swamps have been left to the hippos and crocodiles. But now there's a new interest in the area. Diamonds and copper have been found under the nearby Kalahari Desert. Getting them out requires millions of gallons of water. In drought-wracked Botswana there is only one place it can come from - the swamps. But just what will be lost if they pull the plug out of the Okavango?
