Leicestershire won their first major competition three weeks ago and for the last eight weeks have been top of the John Player League. However, their recent set-back against Hampshire has made it imperative that they beat Somerset today. Somerset, led by Brian Close, will be going all out to exploit the absence of Leicestershire's captain, Ray Illingworth, who is on Test duty.

Peru has a long history of earthquakes; when the Incas and their Sun God were defeated by the Spanish the people of Cuzco turned for protection to an effigy of Christ given to them by their conqueror, Charles V.

The film follows the annual procession of this 'Lord of the Tremors' through the streets of Cuzco and illustrates the story with an eye-witness account of the earthquake of 1970 when whole towns were obliterated.

Presented by Bernard Keeffe with Ruggiero Ricci, William Luff

Since this programme was first shown last year, the world record auction price for a Stradivari has risen from £22,000 to £84,000.
William Luff, an English violin-maker, believes that no one has improved on the basic design as it evolved in Italy in the 17th and 18th centuries; he bases his designs on the best instruments of Stradivari and Guarneri.
Bernard Keeffe investigates the mystery of the great old Italian violins, including their varnish; and Ricci plays music by Paganini on instruments ranging in age from 300 years to brand new.
Also taking part Mario Ferrasis, Andrew Hill, Dr Bernard Robinson.
