Cricket: The John Player League: Leicestershire v Somerset

on BBC Two England

direct from Grace Road, Leicester.
Leicestershire won their first major competition three weeks ago and for the last eight weeks have been top of the John Player League. However, their recent set-back against Hampshire has made it imperative that they beat Somerset today. Somerset, led by Brian Close, will be going all out to exploit the absence of Leicestershire's captain, Ray Illingworth, who is on Test duty.
