As the number of European television channels increases and the grand total of viewers tops more than 400,000-million, the field and scope of television reports widens to cover the entire world. Each week Europa selects some of the films which have interested viewers across a continent - films which show how Europe is looking at itself and at the rest of the world.

Introduced by James Mossman

For years she has been making her sinister looking birds, strange helmeted aviators, massive, blind heads. Today, at 40, she is one of Britain's most successful sculptors. At her farm in Languedoc in France, where she lives with her farmer husband and their son, "Review" watches her at work and examines some of her themes and obsessions.
