The celebrated Second Law of Thermodynamics states that as time flows forward things tend to become more disordered. With this rule as a guide, young travellers from the audience enter our Time Machine, to become Dr Who for a while, and discover whether we can reverse the flow of time.

In the week of the International Boat Show at Earls Court the Wheelbase team take to the water to investigate why so many British families retire to Malta to live on a yacht. Is the answer cheap moorings, warm sunshine in winter, and income tax at six-pence in the pound?
It is estimated that 35,000 yachts are now kept in the Mediterranean, and Malta has an £8-million plan to build a new marina at Valletta - complete with hotels, shops, and flats - to rival the sailing resorts of the French Riviera.
