Swing, swing, swing, swing,
Swing the whole day through...
Have you seen big cranes swinging over building sites? There's all kinds of building happening in Play School this week. On Tuesday Julie and Brian use paper and string to dress up as cranes and on Wednesday there's a story about a crow who builds a nest high above a shipyard.

by Sacha Guitry
Translated and adapted by Caryl Brahms and Ned Sherrin from the English version "Sleeping Partners" by Michael Howard.
Starring Patrick Cargill as The Lover, Fenella Fielding as The Wife and Ivor Dean as The Husband
with Alec Bregonzi as The Valet

The action takes place over two days and nights, and the story - very simple and very French - is about the eternal triangle.

A Horizon presentation of seven programmes on animal life

Tonight, in the last "Eye on Life," Horizon looks at the basis of life itself -
genetics, the science of heredity, and inherited characteristics.
Only recently has science uncovered the 'DNA Molecule,' and 'broken the genetic code.' What does this mean? Riddle of Heredity traces the history of genetic investigations of chromosomes and genes.
It raises some fundamental questions. Will man be able one day to manipulate his biological destiny? Will we ever create supermen? Should we, and if so, who will dictate our genetic future?
