A Horizon presentation of seven programmes on animal life

Normal children are learning far more, and at a far faster rate, than most adults realise.
Today psychologists are watching and learning how they do it. Eye on Life this week shows fascinating evidence of babies learning and the men who are measuring and trying to understand these mechanisms.
Actual, unrehearsed situations have been filmed, using electronic equipment, videotape recordings and infra-red lighting which can measure a newborn infant's ability to track moving light.
Much new evidence is being found; still more may be forthcoming as the Child Watchers continue their painstaking researches.
