A programme for children at home.
Presenters this week, Julie Stevens, Johnny Ball
Today's story is called "Little Pete and the Ladybird" by Leila Berg.
This week's Play School looks at lots of different animals. It starts each day with a farmyard counting rhyme. Today Julie makes a cardboard box into a stable for a horse. Through the windows on Tuesday there are some polar bears at the zoo. Wednesday is Pets Day, so Peter the rabbit, the goldfish, the birds, and the white mice are in Play School. And Johnny and Julie show the toys how to fish with magnets. On Thursday, through the windows, there is a huge fish-so big that a man can ride on its back. And on Friday Athene Seyler comes to Play School to tell the story of Henny-Penny, the little red hen.
