The primates of the world occur in many varied habitats: the gorillas in the Congo rain forest, the baboons on the Kenya plains, the lemurs of Madagascar.
Dr. John Napier of the Primate Unit, Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine draws on the Unit's extensive film library to illustrate how the environment 'moulds' the inhabitants, producing a great variety of structure and behaviour.
