A series of three films by Adrian Cowell.

Throughout the Andes in Carnival time everything stops for two weeks in the year. From the Uru people who live on the tiny floating islands of Lake Titicaca to the serfs of the vast landowners, the Indians celebrate this great annual festival. The towns and villages echo with music and gaiety, but beneath it all runs a sinister undercurrent of violence.
