To celebrate the 70th anniversary season of the BBC Philharmonic, Petroc Trelawny presents a special edition from the orchestra's base at New Broadcasting House in Manchester. With principal conductor Gianandrea Noseda and contributions from special guests, members of the orchestra and past principal conductors.

Cheltenham International Festival of Music
Tommy Pearson continues Radio 3's coverage of this year's festival with Sunday's performance at Cheltenham Town Hall by one of the country's leading brass bands. The single work in the programme, composed over the course of 14 years, is inspired by the notion of Earth as a living, evolving being, with movements reflecting on the power of the classical elements.
