Mike Brecker Quindectet
A concert by American saxophonist
Michael Brecker , generally agreed to be the most imitated saxophonist since John Coltrane. He features here as both soloist and composer, with an unusual
15-piece line-up including strings, accordion and clarinets. Originally broadcast in part last year, the programme features more unbroadcast music from the concert including a chance to hear Brecker playing the EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument). With Jez Nelson. (Revisedrpt)
