Edward Seckerson presents one of the highlights of this year's festival, the European Premier of the award-winning
Broadway hit Ragtime the Musical by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. Adapted from the novel by EL Doctorow , it paints a vivid picture of American life at the turn of the century, blending fictional stories with historical characters and events, all wrapped up in a foot-tapping cavalcade of American musical styles.

Haydn's 12 "London" symphonies, composed in the early 1790s, are arguably his greatest, and today there's an opportunity to hearthe one nicknamed the Miracle.
