Philip Dodd talks to Rohinton Mistry as Such a Long Journey, a new film based on Mistry's bestselling novel A Fine Balance, opens in Britain. The story is set in Bombay's Parsi community on the eve of India's 1971 war with Pakistan, when a bank clerk accidentally becomes embroiled in politics.
