Sixty years after his late father left
India, theatre director Jatinder Verma journeys back to the holy city of Allahabad to scatter his ashes in the Ganges at the point where it meets the River Yamuna and the mythical
River Saraswati. From there, he travels by train into the heart of the Punjab to try to find the house of his father's birth. It is a pilgrimage rich with literary encounters in which he explores his own sense of displacement, his relationship with his father, and that between their respective Indias. Producer Mohit Bakaya
