Libretto by JULES BARBIER , MICHEL CARRE and THE COMPOSER (sung in French) As with nearly all Mayerbeer's once-popular music. Dinorah has not maintained a place in the modern repertory. Despite some colourful and imaginative music in much lighter vein than, for example, Les huguenots or Le prophète, it suffers from an undistinguished plot. The heroine.
