"I've never seen so many bees around a body before, it was like a beehive," says paramedic Steve Mortley about a Norfolk man attacked by a swarm of bees. One of tonight's reconstructions shows what happened that day when Peter Gregory went into anaphylactic shock after he was stung more than 100 times. A rare condition, it could have proved fatal if not treated quickly.
The other two featured stories reconstruct a freak canoeing accident on the River Dart which tested the ingenuity of students at the scene, and the mountain rescue of an elderly woman with a broken arm, by one man & his highly-trained dog.
