Another chance to see Jasper Carrott 's brand of sit-down comedy in this special concert, recorded at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, while he was on tour in 1990. This is the "best" of his repertoire. Among the topics subjected to Carrott's merciless monologues are Birmingham City FC, Chinese restaurants and space invader machines. Of his humour he says: "Sometimes I hear a little phrase or a bell in my brain. Then I just lodge it there until I write about it."
Jasper Carrott was recently named BBC Personality of the Year by the Television and Radio Industries Club.
