Today Her Majesty the Queen travels to Calais by train, to inaugurate the world's longest undersea tunnel. She will be greeted by President Mitterrand and they will jointly open the French tunnel terminal. This afternoon, havingjourneyed on the shuttle to
Folkestone, they will inaugurate the British end of the venture, coverage of which can be seen at 2. 10pm.
