Lynn Redgrave plays tough television reporter Maggie Donnelly, threatened by office politics and a terrifying sequence of events in her private life - but at the root of the threat is the fact that her life does not seem to be private at all.

This thriller by Laura Lamson, who adapted The Men's Room and more recently Against All Odds, orchestrates all the technological tools of Donnelly's professional life - cameras and videotapes, telephones and answering machines - to Intrude in an ever more frightening way, reflecting the fact that invasion of privacy is at the heart of her work.
With an extended episode tonight, this two-part drama concludes next week. It reunites Redgrave with director Ross Devenish - they worked together on Death of a Son - and teams her for the first time on film with her actress daughter Kelly Clark.
