Miles Cullen is the respectable but dull head of a Toronto bank which Harry Reikle, a psychopathic crook, plans to rob, dressed as Santa Claus.
When Reikle's first attempt is inadvertantly thwarted, Cullen guesses that he will have a second go. Taking advantage of the robbery for his own ends. Cullen soon discovers he has made a dangerous and ruthless enemy who will stop at nothing to regain the stolen money.
