Edinburgh 1986 [ntroduced by Desmond Lynam
Looking back, and through these pages, it's got to have been one of those wonderful running, throwing, jumping days at the Athletics stadium and highlights of it all are right here. The stories of what went wrong, the medals for those who got it right, the record books to prove the facts hereafter.
The Bowlers are almost through, but it's still all up in the air at the Badminton.
They've been chasing each other round the Velodrome at Meadowbank in Cycling's Team Pursuit final.
There's still much more Wrestling and Shooting to come and it's only day eight.
