This week and next Paul McDowell reports on The New Children of Israel

Last January news broke of the secret Israeli airlift, codenamed 'Operation Moses', of thousands of starving and destitute black Jews, known as Falashas, from Ethiopia to Israel. They had dreamt of reaching the Holy Land for centuries. Paul traces this remarkable story, which was much like the original Exodus in the Bible.
