Music, mutiny and midsummer madness are the ingredients in this good-natured comedy set in a school. When their popular teacher, Mr Dingle , is sacked, the boys and girls rebel and barricade themselves in the gym-but luckily all ends happily. The school orchestra features prominently in the story and if their talents seem remarkable then perhaps Humphrey Lyttelton and his band should share in the honours.

The chief visionary of Garabandal, Conchita Gonzalez , has since emigrated to America and married. This Everyman film tells her story: the visions, the warning to the world, her attempts to hide from her growing fame, and her fears for her own children.
