At the biggest helicopter base in Europe, RNAS Culdrose, Glyn Worsnip joins the famous search-and-rescue flight of 771 Squadron and, with Nationwide cameras, becomes the first reporter to live and fly with the crews who patrol the dangerous coasts of Cornwall.
When tragedy struck the 1980 Fastnet Yacht race, 74 lives were saved by 771's search-and-rescue crews. This year brings new calls and challenges. With the school holidays starting and the tourist season in full swing - the men of 771 Squadron stand by to 'scramble.'

[NB factual error in this Radio Times listing - it should read "1979 Fastnet Yacht race"]

with Phil Drabble
The last of four programmes Guide Dogs
The partnership between a guide dog and its blind owner is the most practical and demanding of all the working relationships devised between man and dog; only a few dogs have the right temperament for this special lifestyle, and not all blind people take to the ways of the dog.
PHIL DRABBLE follows the fortunes of a litter of labrador puppies, from the time before they open their eyes until the moment when they start work.
