Burns, now 74, 'I smoke 20 cigars a day, at my age I've got to hold on to something,' tells a series of dry reminiscences about his 67 years in show business and his 50-year friendship with Jack Benny. 'We were at this party and Jack got up to light a cigarette. I said: "Quiet everybody, Jack is going to do the match bit." And he stood there with the cigarette and the matches, he didn't know what to do with everybody looking at him, so he finally lit the cigarette. I said: "Oh, a new finish".'
Lucille Ball recounts the experience she had with her newly born baby and Carol Burnett recalls the embarrassment of receiving an injection in the bottom from the doctor she loved.
