A film series from Sweden.

Peter, the nine-year-old Swedish boy whom you saw a little while ago, is back. You'll remember that Peter's father had to take a job away from home, and Peter was sent to stay on the farm where his cousins Anders and Anna Maja lived. At first he was unhappy, but he soon settled down. One day Peter goes with Gustav, his uncle, Anders, and Anna Maja to mill some grain. The children discover the mill-race and then something happens that makes Anders think Peter is sadly lacking in some of the basic skills of country life. The story-teller is Tony Bilbow.

From the Midlands
(For cast list see page 53)

The first meeting of the Angleton Preservation Society has taken place, and the opposition to the proposed eastern route for the by-pass is growing. Sydney Huxle, now doing very nicely with his strip cartoon venture, has received his first big cheques. Feeling 'flush', he has taken a new flat and has bought lots of new furniture for it, and Margot Kerr is helping him move in. Her sister Kirsty is due home for the Easter holidays. And today Jimmy Harker meets a group of new, though not altogether desirable friends, who are going to be around for quite a while to come...

Champion House Back Tonight. A new series of thirteen.
Starring Edward Chapman, Nicole Maurey, Maurice Kaufmann, Virginia Stride, James Kerry

In the Champion family, conflict is inevitable. Tensions and undercurrents exist all the time. And yet they have, although they rarely mention it, a deep affection for one another. When one of them needs help, the other Champions close ranks in defence.
Tonight's story tells of just such an occasion. There never was a greater need for the Champions to unite. One of them is on trial - charged with manslaughter. The case looks black and nobody can be optimistic about the verdict.
It all started at the Mill's annual dance...

A documentary about the world of the Foreign Correspondent.
The hotel bedroom, the bar, and the barricade - the three B's that make up a newspaper correspondent's life. They are men of the world in every sense-they know every country and all the ropes. They face with equal fortitude enemy guns and official spokesmen.
William Russell, of The Times, founded the profession when he exposed the full horror of the Crimean War.
Since then, many and various are the characters that have flitted through the overseas pages: Alfred Austin, Edgar Wallace, Winston Churchill - Kim Philby. Meet some of the present-day operators tonight...
