Tales from Europe: Here Comes Peter

on BBC One London

A film series from Sweden.

Peter, the nine-year-old Swedish boy whom you saw a little while ago, is back. You'll remember that Peter's father had to take a job away from home, and Peter was sent to stay on the farm where his cousins Anders and Anna Maja lived. At first he was unhappy, but he soon settled down. One day Peter goes with Gustav, his uncle, Anders, and Anna Maja to mill some grain. The children discover the mill-race and then something happens that makes Anders think Peter is sadly lacking in some of the basic skills of country life. The story-teller is Tony Bilbow.
