Television's new Ice-Discery where you can Skate, Shake, or Just Listen.
David Jacobs introduces Jacqueline Harbord, World and British Professional Champion, John Phillips and Gillian Thorpe, Ronnie McKenzie, John Pearce and Lesley Norfolk.
This week's guests: Lulu and the Luvers, Tommy Scott
From the Ice Stadium, Nottingham

One young lady currently skating her way to more success and who finds herself in a Cool Spot tonight is nineteen-year-old world champion Jacqueline Harbord. Jacqueline, who lives in London with her parents and elder brother, won the World and British Professional Ice-Skating titles last year as a preliminary to turning professional. The previous year she won the Commonwealth Winter Games figure-skating championships and the international championships at St. Moritz. Since turning professional she does not have to spend quite as many hours a day practising and finds time to follow interests outside the ice-rink, which include needlework, fencing, and trampolining.

A film documentary about children who are exceptional because they are not quite average, which may give us second thoughts about what we mean by a 'normal child'.
