One young lady currently skating her way to more success and who finds herself in a Cool Spot tonight is nineteen-year-old world champion Jacqueline Harbord. Jacqueline, who lives in London with her parents and elder brother, won the World and British Professional Ice-Skating titles last year as a preliminary to turning professional. The previous year she won the Commonwealth Winter Games figure-skating championships and the international championships at St. Moritz. Since turning professional she does not have to spend quite as many hours a day practising and finds time to follow interests outside the ice-rink, which include needlework, fencing, and trampolining.
