By a Doctor
The first four talks in this series having been devoted to the health of the mother, listeners are now to hear about the health of the child, and this talk deals with the feeding of a baby up to the time it is weaned. By listening for a quarter of an hour on this, and subsequent Friday mornings, young mothers will be able to hear everyday difficulties discussed in a common-sense manner. They are to hear this morning how and why breast-feeding is to the advantage of the baby ; when and how they shall wean it; and when discretion should override the best of rules.
From II.0 to 11.30 London National (261.1 m.) will radiate Television.

JOHN HILTON
Friday afternoon talks in this group, under the heading of ' This and That', will be given every week by Mr. John Hilton , who will talk of current events both at home and abroad, and give a running commentary on life in general.
It will be remembered that Mr. Hilton made a tour of the industrial centres of Britain in the early part of this year. He travelled some 2,000 miles, and went over nearly a hundred workshops and factories collecting material for his broadcast series ' Industrial Britain '.
Listeners in Unemployed Clubs will be addressed by a man who knows the hardship of labour and the still greater hardship of unemployment-a man who started life in a mill himself and whose hobby is work.
