For this course for the current year Commander King-Hall and Mr. K. C. Boswell have drawn up a programme which has as its central idea the way England is governed. During the autumn term, while Commander King-Hall is in America, the talks will be given by Mr. Boswell.
In his opening talk last Thursday,
Mr. Boswell told schools all about the Monarchy as it is, today he will discuss with Baron Rollo and Mr. Pepys the Monarchy as it was, and schools will hear an outline of the changes that have taken place in the course of centuries, modifying the power of Monarchy from the absolute position it once held to the constitutional position it holds today.
Next Thursday Mr. Boswell. will discuss the Mother of Parliaments.

C. STANLEY EKE: 'Stowing Away'
In this new series some of the world's adventurers are to come to the microphone with episodes from their own real life stories that should make good listening.
The man known as a rolling stone has certain characteristics as denned as the stripes of a zebra-a restlessness, a love of roving and adventure and excitement, and an inrooted dislike of authority and everything in the way of routine.
Not for him is the steady job and the gradual climb, the suburban house and a garden, the 8.50 up in the morning and the 7.10 down at night. He is a romantic fellow. The moon rises and suggests how much lovelier it will look on the African veldt, and he must go there ; or he is working contentedly in Chicago when the face of a girl reminds him of one he last saw in Croydon, and he must throw up everything and jump a train to New York on his journey home ; or, as in the case of the opening talk to-day, he is doing odd jobs in New Zealand when he hears that his brother in England is to be married in six weeks' time. Hey presto ! Mr. C. Stanley Eke stows away under the boilers of a cargo boat and almost suffers hell's fires in pursuit of an idea.
