In his talk this evening Mr. John Morgan will describe his recent visit to the King's farms round Sandringham, especially to one of three thousand acres that is rented by one of the largest arable farmers in Great Britain-a man who has been a pioneer in turning lucerne into cattle cake for winter feeding.
Mr. Morgan will also say something of a visit he made at the same time to some Norfolk large-scale factory farms that convert wheat into breakfast foods on the spot and directly supply the large retailers.
The arrangement still holds good whereby The Daily Herald has released Mr. Morgan from his position on that paper as its agricultural correspondent, though he still acts as its consultant. He is in this way able to continue his broadcast talks in which his aim is to review all questions of interest to farmers from the point of view of the man on the ground, and to break down the jargon of scientists and Government departments, and pass it on to farmers in everyday language that they can understand.
