As a result of the war Margaret Maddison , who has been broadcasting regularly for the last seven years, has temporarily transferred herself and her pianos to a super hen hut -which has been evacuated by the hens ! There she lives, and there she practises, and from there she sets out to play at National Gallery concerts in London or in some big city perhaps at the other end of England.
Born at Kettering, she comes of a musical family. Her sisters, Janet and Joyce, play with Hope Timpson in the Maddison Trio and are well known to Midland listeners.
