An investigation by Michell Raper into the strange case of Ex-Inspector Syme
Dismissed from the Metropolitan Police in 1909, Syme spent the rest of his life fighting to clear his name. After twenty years he officially achieved his object but by this time he had become so conditioned to campaigning that he simply could not stop.
