' Feeding for meat and fur ' by W. King Wilson
In these days of close rationing it is more important than ever to obtain meat and-clothing without coupons. W. King Wilson will describe how rabbits, fed largely on waste foods, can provide you with un-rationed meat, skins for your fur coat next winter or with knitting wool-if you keep Angoras. The rabbit is possibly the most important domestic animal at the present time because he converts waste directly into meat with practically rio requirements in rationed food. The rabbit can be fed for the most part on greenstuffs such as lawn mowings, weeds, vegetable thinnings, trimmings from various trees, and housescraps that would otherwise be wasted.

From a theatre in the South
The Council for the Encouragement of Music and the Arts, otherwise CEMA, is living up to its name by keeping Shakespeare on the road, in association with th.i O'd Vie.
It is hoped that listeners will hear something of Constance's ' mad ' scene—Constance played by Sybil Thorndike ; then some back-stage interviews ; and finally something of Arthur's ' torture ' scene-Arthur being played by Sybil Thorndike 's daughter Ann Casson.
