In this Top Gear special Jeremy Clarkson discovers why in Italy the religion is Catholicism, but the god is Ferrari. Of all the super-cars - Lamborghini, McClaren and Jaguar included - the Ferrari is the epitome of a car enthusiast's fantasy. The name, the styling inside and out, the chassis, the engine, the performance - fans believe they all combine in mechanical and aesthetic perfection. The road models provide finesse and delicacy, with enormous power under the hood. And on the race track the Ferrari record is second to none - they have won more racing events than any other team, and have completed the Le Mans/Formula One World Championship double not once, but three times. Jeremy also gets to drive some of his own dream cars, including the Daytona and the 456GT, the latter of which he describes as "a steel deity. It's sex on wheels."
