When the tigers in the hills of Kumaon turn from their natural prey to taking human life, the villagers send for help to naturalist and big-game hunter Jim Corbett. But it is the late 1920s and Jim is in his 50s. He now realises it is the great elephant drives and slaughter for sport that are seriously endangering the animal he describes as 'a large-hearted gentleman with boundless courage'.

Shirley Muldowney became the first professional female racing driver and three-times World Champion drag racer. This factually-based biopic tells the story of her rise to fame from amateur to professional - and of her struggle against male prejudice both on and off the track. For Shirley her success means a deteriorating marriage and other problems when she begins a relationship with her fiercest competitor.
