When her lover Jean, a French cameraman, suffered serious brain damage in a car accident, Agneta was horrified to find that the Swedish medical authorities were prepared to write him off as a hopeless case. Her friends told her to forget him - to live her own life; but Agneta was determined not to abandon Jean. Her courage and love brought him back to strength, and to a degree of self-expression that confounded the experts. This film is Agneta and Jean's record of his rehabilitation - a triumphant vindication of the power of the individual.
