Not since 1953 has Wales managed to beat the All Blacks. Todays match will be recorded as ' 'unofficial,' but to the Welsh team, containing some of the illustrious British Lions, it will be an uncompromising attempt to win.
NIGEL STARMER-SMITH recalls action from 40 years of fierce encounters between these two sides in the company of former Welsh captains CLAUDE DAVEY (1935), BLEDDYN WILLIAMS (1953), CLIVE ROWLANDS (1963), NORMAN GALE (1967) and DELME THOMAS (1972). For 25 years Hubert Paulsen , a retired Danish architect, has been working on a new theory about the geometric principles on which the Great Pyramid was built. In this Chronicle programme he gives us an insight into the mathematical genius of the Ancient Egyptians, and suggests that there may still be an undiscovered burial chamber at the centre of the Pyramid.
